You’re probably wondering to yourself about the significance of this car. Well, so am I (I tend to forget things that I tell myself not to forget). My guess is that it’s a race car from a famous manufacturer driven by famous drivers, and finished really well in the race. It’s pretty, isn’t it?

At least I know a little bit about this one. It’s Mazda’s winning race car, making Mazda the only Japanese manufacturer to ever win at Le Mans.

It’s amazing with significant others (s.o.) will let you do sometimes. My girlfriend let me drive to Le Mans, let me go to the museum, and then guided me around the circuit so I could drive on it for as much as we could-- even the Mulsanne Straight. And she doesn’t even like car stuff.
