Notes
- After the old start-finish line, there’s a left hander and
you’re driving downhill.
- Where I’m pointing with my hand is a dot on the left side
of the road. You’re supposed to drive to the dot and use it as
a turn-in point [9:53:08
- turn in].
- After the dot, you clip the road on the left side and head
for the No Parking (called No Stopping at the link above) side
to the right. I turn in too early (early apex) this corner
[9:53:23], putting me in a bad spot
for the turns.
- Then I’m going too fast for conditions (damp) and bring the
back end around a bit [9:53:08
- uh... Houston, we have a problem..]. Some man (in the yellow
jacket) out early on Easter Sunday is there to witness my faux
pas.
- This is a double-apex turn. Check out the websites above to find
out how.
- The esses that follow are just rhythm turns.
- The final turn on the video, a sharp, downhill left-hander
(Hochheichen), is also slippery. Just make it through.
Warning:
This place is always slippery-- wet or not. I did the exact
same thing two months later, and that time I tagged that wall.
Please be careful!
