This is what happens when one gets a brand new graphics program. Okay—so I’m no Van Gogh. At least I still have both my ears, and I’m pretty sure this isn’t a forgery. (And it’s not gray—it’s probably just dirty.)
(In case you’re wondering, autotechnica was a shop in Milwaukee that installed my suspension parts. (I think they’re gone now.) Back then, Peter Cunningham (and somebody else I can’t remember) used to run Honda Preludes for them in SCCA. Last season (1997) I saw Cunningham running the Comptech Acura NSX. There—that’s my name dropping for the page.)

Oh, my. When you grow up in Detroit, it stands to reason that at some point in your life, you’ll own a Ford, Chevy or Chrysler. This is my legacy (no, no, no... NOT the Subaru).
Of course, now that I’ve owned one of these, I hope I’m exempt for the rest of my life. Not that I think Fords and Chevys and Chryslers are bad cars (although that would be a good reason), but because there are so many other (better) cars out there.
With that said, read about my Beretta adventures in So There I Was... Or don’t.
I know it’s an old car. Still, it’s irritating to have any kind of problem on a car. My latest issue is that it’s leaking coolant, most likely from the block. It seems to be coming from the engine mounting bracket bolts in the back of the engine block. I don’t know if I’ll be able to get this one fixed. If anyone has a suggestion out there, I’d
(NOTE: Many people have been writing me, telling me it’s the head gasket. While I appreciate the advice, that’s not the problem. When there’s a problem with the head gasket, some coolant normally goes into the cylinders, and you get white smoke out the exhaust. Or coolant just “mysteriously” disappears. This is not the case with my Beretta. Besides, the head gasket’s been replaced already. Please try again.
Best Guesses: Water pump, heater lines.)
If you want to check out my other car, or my other other car, or cars in Europe, then please go to my Cars section. There’s also pictures from auto shows, a “run what you brung” race called the Pony Express in Nevada, and so on. Check it out.
