This happens to be one of my favorite cars -- the Lamborghini Miura (370 hp/PS). Note the red Countach in the background. This is located in Sinsheim’s second car museum building, the same one that houses the former land speed record holder, the “Blue Flame.” I ran out of film before I could take a picture of it, though.

I think this was only the second F-40 I’ve seen in real life. The other was on Telegraph Road in Bloomfield Hills, MI. Can you tell I’m easily impressed? (I’m sure in Miami, people use them as taxis.)
There’s a sticker on the car that says, “Solo Micky” [sic]. My guess is Minnie got this after the divorce.

Hans-Joachin Stuck drove this 330 PS (horsepower) Gruppe A BMW 635 CSi back in 1984. Presumably, he partook of the Jägermeister most likely after a race, possibly before a race, but hardly ever during a race.
Here’s something you don’t see too often-- no, not Marilyn Monroe-- a Mercedes- Benz (not DaimlerChrysler) funny car. It ran a few races back in 1983 at Hockenheim and the österreichring. I don’t remember if it said how well it did in those races. |
